While Hurricane Gustav heads towards the Gulf Coast I’m going to be heading to St. Paul for a now-modified Republican convention.  There was talk to rescheduling it but with all the plane tickets bought and hotel rooms booked, I don’t see how they could have done that.  Now it just might be a “telethon” sort of event to raise money for The Red Cross.  I see Bush and Cheney have already canceled.

Either way, it will be fascinating.  I will keep the blog updated as much as possible.  I arrive there this evening and, from there, we’ll see what happens!
