Hurricane Gustav is wrecking havoc, both on the Gulf Coast and in St. Paul.  The Republicans have suspended most of their activities for today.  I also haven’t heard from my RNC contact (although I have her cell phone number too so I’ll call) so that leaves us wondering “what does one do when your convention gets canceled?”

We’re about to head out and ask.  There’s still plenty of activity going on around the Xcel Center.  I saw some dudes walking by with elephant hats, American flags, and McCain t-shirts.  They look fun.
