I’ve had to go to Grady Memorial Hospital lately to get some things checked up on.  It’s not that there’s been any emergency; it’s just that I don’t have health insurance.  A doctor friend told me about “The Grady Card” which basically gets you discounted medical services if you qualify (i.e. if you’re poor).  So after spending time with a lovely lady in sweat pants and a fur coat who practically fell asleep on my shoulder, and then sacrificing the required “Full Day of Waiting” to the Grady Financial Gods, I got one.

Today I went back for some follow-up tests to some follow-up tests.  Again, nothing major but also nothing conclusive either.  I should hear back as to my general state of my well being by mid-week.  There was, however, one test that came up with an immediate result.  I took a picture.  (View after the flip.)

Now that’s a result you can feel good walking away with!
