Tomorrow I begin a pretty epic journey.  I’ll be road tripping to Bonnaroo with Margaret Cho, her manager Emily, and our friend Crissy.  We’ll drive the 3 hours to Manchester, Tennessee, head into the concert grounds, and then go from there.  We’ll be there until late Sunday night.  I’m getting unprecedented access and I’m soooooo curious what it’s going to be like.

  • Do they shuttle in stars from their hotels in Nashville?
  • Will I be waiting at a bus stop with Bruce Springsteen, David Byrne, or Neko Case?
  • What’s it like backstage?
  • Does Elvis Costello have to use a port-o-pot?
  • Do we get to eat for free?
  • Are bands and artists just hanging out?
  • Are they partying?
  • How far will I get with me and my camera?
  • Will I get to hang out with Snoop Dogg?

 That last one is actually a goal of mine.  I want to meet Snoop Dogg!
