Just had to freakin’ share this. High today: 65 degrees. One of many, many reasons living in the South kicks Yankee butt. (Never mind Snowpocalypse 2011… we’re beyond that now.)

State lawmakers are looking to plug the $2 billion budget shortfall, in part, with liquor bottles. Legislation has been proposed at the state capital to allow locals to vote on whether to allow Sunday alcohol sales. I’m pretty sure if we Atlantans were asked we respond with a resounding “hell yeah.”

Newly-elected Nathan Deal says he won’t veto the legislation if it passes. And it’s making national news. From the Wall Street Journal:

My friends all went to the NOH8 Campaign Open Photo Shoot at the W Midtown today. They got there, got their tattoos, and were told it was going to be a 6 hour wait. I joked with them, telling them that for $20 I’d take their pictures at my house. Instant Facebook delivery guaranteed!

Twenty minutes later, they showed up at my door.
