The Dames a’Flame are doing a special Valentine’s production of “POP!” this weekend. They’re incredible and it would be the PERFECT Valentine’s date for you and your sweetie. The Dames are super talented, the show is always class, and you’ll get nice n’ horny just in time for VD evening.

They’re doing two nights with two shows each night.
February 11th – 8 pm (doors at 7:30) and 10:30 pm (doors at 10)
February 12th – 8 pm (doors at 7:30) and 10:30 pm (doors at 10)

Here’s the skinny:

Inspired by the lavish showgirl revues of Paris and Las Vegas, and boasting a line-up of more than a dozen beautiful dancing Dames, world class singers and side-splitting comics, this special Valentine’s production of “POP!” features brand new acts along with your favorite Dames Aflame classics. This adult-themed show attracts a diverse audience with its bawdy humor and elegant striptease. As seen on Playboy TV’s “The 69 Sexiest Things to Do Before You Die”!

A limited number of VIP Tables are available along the front of the stage, offering the best vantage point and special attention from the Dames, as well as a complimentary bottle of champagne. VIP Tables are sold in seats of 4 at $75 per seat. You must purchase all 4 seats to reserve a table (even if there are only two people in your party).

When I first heard Baths, I kept referring to him as a band.  Baths is a one-man show and is quite impressive to see live.  I was fortunate enough to see him at CMJ this past spring and was amazed.  He’s witty and adorable (he’s only 21 or so).  The music is beautifully layered and complex, yet fun and danceable.  Cerulean is one of my favorite albums of 2010.

Baths is playing tonight at the Masquerade.  Doors are at 8:00 PM. Braids and Star Slinger open.

Tomorrow night, 08 FEB 2011, is Wild Nothing with Abe Vigoda at the Drunken Unicorn.  Don’t miss this either.  The last time Wild Nothing played, they opened up for Stars at Variety.  This show will be much more intimate and I’m sure this might be the last time you will be able to catch both artists in such a small venue.

Alright, Eddie Ray loves to dish it when it comes to movies… but can he take it? This is his latest masterpiece entitled “There’s No Love For Valentine’s Day.” (Be sure to watch past the credits at least to see the hateful-Confederate-flag-dude who walks around Grant Park yell at Eddie for being a homo.)
