So if it raining on Gay Pride means “God Hates Gays” in Georgia, what does a Snowpocalypse preventing our newly-elected Republican Governor, Nathan Deal, from getting inaugurated mean? Does it mean God REALLY Hates Republicans? Or just Georgia?

The winning kyle.tv task for January was to crash Nathan Deal’s inauguration. We were all set to do it and announce the fun times until the sky opened up. Now he’s moving his swearing-in inside and all the other stuff is canceled. BOO. I guess I’ll have to go get myself hot-wax-mumified at the Atlanta Eagle now.

Anyways, we all know what would happen if Haydee and I found ourselves in the middle of a Republican gathering. I guess we’re just saving ourselves the trouble of this:

Jailbreak Party Highlights!

The party was a huge success. We probably topped out at 100 people or so and people were into it. Some came in costume (pictured below) others threw in what they could. We had 2 kick ass DJs and 2 kegs… all of whom we exhausted by the end of the night.

We had another small run-in with the cops, only because the party got kinda big and loud and went later than we planned… but they were actually cool. No tickets or zip-tie handcuffs. Ahem.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out! Also BIG THANKS to Martha and Rami who pulled this outta their butts only a few days ago.

I took some video of the night and will post it as soon as I throw it together. In the meantime, here are a few pics to wet yur whistle.

It’s been an exciting and historic two weeks but, damn, it’s nice to be heading home today. It’s even nicer to learn that your good friends have decided to throw a party/fundraiser for you when you get there. Martha and Rami have put together a little something to help raise some cash for fines and legal fees and stuff. We have to come back here to fight the charges so this will certainly help!

If you’re in Atlanta, hit me up and come on by. If you’re not, then I’m sorry you’ll miss a good time… but you KNOW they will be video!!

So Kyle went to the RNC and got himself arrested. They don’t think much of the purple-haired (unless you’re an AARP member). Now Kyle, Haydee and Justin are facing misdemeanor charges and legal fees. So, we’re throwing down to raise some money.
